Federal Reserve System: National IT
Development of brand identity
National IT became the rebranded name and identity for the IT group that supports the entire Federal Reserve System serving our nation's economy. Along with branding, a series of internal communication town halls televised across 12 locations was initiated, a centralized news team established, a consolidated website for all divisions, and standardized materials were implemented.
"The success of the launch would not have been possible without your hard work, special skills, and make it happen attitude." - Lon Zanetta, National IT CIO, Nov 2009

Storyboarding
System CIO message – a call to action through a unique video.
July 2020. Due to many working remotely during Covid-19, the push to have employees install Microsoft O365 hastened. A striking video memo created within a matter of weeks yielded over 98% successful installation within one month’s time.
Role in this project included:
• Original storyboard concept and drawings to capture the request and complete sign-off with upper management.
• Overview of video production.

Video conferencing:Â Developing, Managing, & Speaking
This annual event is designed to unite all internal IT communications specialists.
In the Fall 2019, with the Richmond FRB (Federal Reserve Bank) serving as the central location for National IT Communications, we decided to video stream our event to draw in a wider audience and to curb costs.
Roles in this event included:
• Co-leading a presentation as the National IT brand manager discussing what our brand voice means and
how we all play a role in cohesive communications
(shown seated in photos).
• Designing and building the presentation deck as shown.
• Leading the Creative Team in creation of promotional materials: email memo, posted itinerary, calendar invites, post-event videos and photos, feedback surveys and post-event review discussions.

Targeted messages aimed at changing behaviors
In 2019, the IS Team had the funds to make a splash with its security messaging. Initially only requesting a mousepad with
a classification table, a campaign with multiple components evolved, designed to engage people with a variety of touchpoints.
Role in this campaign included:
• Creation of the campaign: concept, tag-lines, and design
• Proposing how we can use a variety of promotional items to drive our message to increase correct classification behaviors: Mousepad, leave behind card for security sweeps, magnet for file cabinets, and webcam privacy slider.
• Working directly with two different third-party vendors and our preferred print house. Coordination of orders to ensure that all pieces match.
